Late night thinking...not a fan.

Hello lovelies.

It's 2:00 in the AM and surprise surprise I cannot sleep. Maybe it's because I was torturing myself by watching cheesy romantic comedies on Netflix...or maybe it's because I'm awake in someone's dream(MYTH, that can't actually be true...can it?). Either way my insomnia + 3 bad romantic comedies= a crap shoot of nonsense.

I've come to realize that it's okay that you aren't the relationship type, you are young...sooo young. Even if you are 100 you are young, don't let those jerks at the nursing home tell you any different. And if your reason that you aren't relationship material because of the drama and heartache that comes along with them, well then, you are not alone. Or if you are just flat out afraid of everything male and the insecurities that come along with them, you are also not alone. See the world is full of people who are just....scared. Scared they will get their heartbroken. Scared they'll fall in love. Scared they will love someone who doesn't love them back. Scared their baby will have six fingers on one hand. All I'm trying to say is you will never not be scared. I will admit I am terrified of all things that deal with relationships. I have relationship phobia, don't know why but I'd much rather sit at home watching endless hours of How I Met Your Mother, or various other movies, and get lost in their lives and relationship dramas then have my own because it's easier.

Which brings me back to the point that it's okay that you aren't the relationship type. Take time for yourself. Find the real you and become comfortable in yourself and don't over think things. The reality of it is, is that YOU WILL find your happy ending. It may be with a wonderful man, or it may be with yourself and your successful life that you worked so hard to achieve, as long as you are happy where you are at the end of the day...I'd say that's a pretty darn good happy ending.

I may not know where my life is going to take me, but I'm determined to trust the chauffeur and enjoy the ride.
